World Heritage Sites

The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has designated over 1000 sites around the world as having "outstanding universal value."  In addition, these World Heritage sites meet one of ten criteria, which include things like "represent a masterpiece of human creative genius" or "contain superlative natural phenomena or areas of exceptional natural beauty and aesthetic importance."  How many World Heritage sites have you visited?  Now there's a daunting travel challenge - make it to all of them!!  That's a moving target too, since more sites are added regularly.  See the complete list here.  And here's my list!
